Dear Ginny Weasley,

A lot of people have a lot of different opinions about you. Some peple love you, some think you're an unrealistic Mary Sue, some say you're a bitch and still others call you a slut. But I don't think you would have cared about any of that. You would have said screw them, as long as you had your friends and your family. And that is what I love about you Ginny Weasley.
When you couldn't have Harry, you didn't sit in a corner and cry like some female protagonists we know. You dated other people, you showed him what he couldn't have, but you never lost your childhood love for him. You never really gave up on him.
You're fiery and happy and a great friend. I'd love to be more like you, more willing to speak up for what's right, indifferent to what other people think of me. You make me stronger, Ginny.
While you have your faults, it's all the great things about you that shine through. That's why you are so well-liked, people love your personality and your liveliness. That's why I like you, anyway.
And, for the record, I don't think you are a Mary Sue, a slut or a bitch. Just a normal girl that happens to have magical powers.

Always,
Alyssa
